Improved UX in Gantt Chart

 

We’re proud to introduce the new Power Board feature (in Preview mode). The Power Board is a Kanban-style board that supports the maturation of ideas by providing a lightweight prioritization and selection of ideas.

The power board is easy to use, moving projects with a simple drag and drop with dynamic updates to column roll-ups. This makes it ideal for a collaborative process of evaluating project intake, allowing you to rate and qualify ideas in a visual way.

Our new Interactive Power Matrix is a built-in two-by-two visualization designed for project prioritization in collaboration. The metrics are customizable according to your business parameters. Moving projects automatically updates the score and ranking of the project or initiative. This gives an excellent insight into which investments to undertake and the potential value that might be gained.

It’s now easier than ever to create and modify plans in our Power Gantt Charts. A good user experience comes from paying attention to the details so we’ve improved the ability to manage your tasks and data, so with a simple drag and drop you can copy tasks, copy data from your tasks, and manage the sequence of your tasks.

Working with data is an essential component of modern work life, so in wave four we’ve future proofed our Power Hub to be able to handle and provide value from your data.

Our new restore feature makes it possible to easily restore data and initiatives that have been accidentally or mistakenly deleted. This exciting new update will save countless hours when restoring data and secure your organization against human error when managing projects and portfolios. With the power hub restore-feature, you can select the relevant initiatives or projects and let the Power Hub restore it for you.

We’ve made the help section configurable. This allows the organization to fully leverage the knowledge of processes and departments by including customized information for their end-users.

Our new Resource Planner View (preview mode) now has a completely new view for the Line manager with a heatmap for resource availability as well as the ability to change allocations directly within the view, allowing for a higher degree of flexibility in planning.

With these new features Team Planner continues to assist in the best resource planning for employees and managers alike.
